Location and installation year

This hide is placed to Dipper breeding and feeding area which is changing annually. We usually try to position it close to the Hargita Bear Lodge. We started our Dipper Hide experiment in March 2017.

Access

Normally only a short walk involved to get into this hide.

Size and style

It is 250 cm wide, 250 cm long and 140 cm high. It has one photo-through window. The window have glass, but can be used with camouflage net as well. It is comfortable for up to 2 photographers. We also use mobile blinds if terrain requires.

Regulation

This hide can be entered anytime of the day.

Recommended Photo Equipment

The distance to the birds is variable but ranges from 5-25 meter. All sorts of lenses are recommended in the range of 200-500 mm.
